These bars make a healthful snack on the go!!!
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup almond butter
2 tbsps. hemp seeds (or if you can't find use sunflower)
2/3 cup soy protein (vanilla flavored is great)
1/2 cup of honey or agave nectar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and then roast oats about 15 or 20 minutes.
Let oats cool and then put all ingredients into a mixer and mix until well combined. The dough is thick so you might even use a dough hook if you have one to attach to your mixer.
Spread dough into a greased 9x13 pan and cook at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool and then cut into bars.
